Gift of the Needy return from humanitarian mission

2018-08-16 06:00

GIFT of the Needy directors Moulana Shaheen Ismail, Moulana Moosa Leher and Faiaz Magid have just arrived in South Africa, having worked abroad with our team of volunteers to discharge your Ramadan 2018 Zakaah contributions to Syrian and Burmese refugees.

We distributed food hampers with our target beneficiaries being widows, orphans, the aged and infirm as well as victims of gas explosions.

Through the grace and mercy of the almighty, we successfully completed the tasks set out to bring hope and relief to our brethren in distress, and we are happy to report that we have completely distributed your Zakaah to help uplift those in need and appease their suffering.

We have taken every care in personally discharging your Ramadan 2018 Zakaah contribution and overseeing all projects in consultation with our team and can account for every cent spent to uplift, empower and assist the chosen beneficiaries.

We humbly request your prayers that our efforts have indeed had the desired results and may the almighty forgive us any shortcomings in our pursuit of helping those in need.

We will continue to render assistance where possible as the plight of refugees remains one of the greatest humanitarian challenges.

Thank you for entrusting us with this noble responsibility.

Your kind contributions have brought smiles to people who endure so much pain and despair.

Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact us directly.
