THE International Karate Daigaku South Africa (IKDSA) hosted fellow affiliated members from Botswana Sensei Mox Johnson, sensei Sox NkGabane and their team of karatekas in South Africa recently.

The team conducted an intense seminar last month at the La Mercy community hall, which proved to be very insightful and highlighted the importance of hand to hand combat, self defence techniques and tournaments drills.

The organisation will be choosing a team of karatekas in December to participate in the IKD Woon-A-tai cup. Karaketas will be chosen on their performance to compete in the world championships scheduled to be held in Barbados in July 2018.

IKDSA is currently preparing to host Kancho Frank Woon-A-Tai (founder of International Karate Daigaku from Canada) South Africa next year in South Africa.

Various workshops and training seminars will be held.
