THREE completely different shows performed on three consecutive days on one stage.

It’s never been done before in South Africa, but that’s exactly what is motivating Karou Charou to achieve this goal.

Three entirely different scripts, costumes, props, lighting, music, etc, is mentally, physically and technically challenging, but for Karou it’s one more way of showing why he is one of the most commercially successful artists and one of the recognisable brands in the country and the reason why an international brand like McDonalds handpicked him to be the face of their national ad campaign.

Karou will kick his off his Festival at Sibaya’s Izulu theatre on Friday 9 September with the show that catapulted him into the spotlight – Kama Sutra (Sex and Da Charou).

This show premiered at Sibaya with a record seven successive sold-out shows in a row.

Then on Saturday 10 September is Kama Sutra 2 (Come Again).

Generally sequels never live up to the original production. This was not the case with Kama Sutra 2, say those who have watched both. In fact they go as far as saying that Kama Sutra 2 is better than the original.

On Sunday 11 September Karou will feature the Hot and Spicy family show.

In this show children under 10 get to share the stage with Karou.

There is a set that involves two audience members, a pack of cards and an egg beater.

Karou will also be showcasing his newly acquired hypnosis skills and then there is the crowd pleasing cowboy “hoe down” It’s a 90-minute roller- coaster of fun for the entire family.

Hot and Spicy is also being recorded for an official DVD release.
