THE Tongaat Central Library Woman’s Association has embarked on a skills programme.

Prema Naidoo, a qualified trainer, has pledged her support in training people so that they can have a better chance seek employment in our local factories.

Unemployed youth is encouraged to attend these sessions.

Vigie Padayachee, from the library, said: “We have a young gentleman by a name of Thembela Ntuli at the club. He surprised us by making himself an overall set, which is incomplete but is proof [of what he has learnt].

“We are extremely grateful to Prema for taking time away from her daily commitments in order to make a difference in our community.

“We humbly appeal to all those that are unemployed to attend these classes,” Padayachee said.

Courses run on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm at Tongaat Central Library.”
