Local walkers prove their dominance in KZN

FALCONS walker Eddie Singh took second place at the Sisonke 10 km Challenge, held at Inanda Dam on July 8. Singh also graced the Forest Hills 10 km Challenge podium with a third place finish on July 15.

He attributed his success to training and determination.

Ismaael Mahommed, who ran strong and comfortable finishes, attended the 10 km Challenge as well.

Checkout Verulam Falcons AC held its 19th Leg of Asmals Hypersave Challenge for members and locals to participate in on Sunday morning from Verulam Day Care Centre.

Despite the biting cold, Ari Permual was able to warm up the muscles and run a blistering pace of sub six minutes per km to finish the 15 km run in 1:29.

On the 10 km run, KB Chain continued his dominance over the distance whilst Mogie Padayachee lead with a brisk pace in the 10 km walk.
