SAPS Tongaat in conjunction with Haven of Rest and the Department of Community Safety and Liaison Social crime prevention volunteers conducted a placard demonstration and distribution of pamphlets to motorists and the community in Tongaat CBD to commemorate Women’s Month on August 24.

Captain Patrick Ngwaner said: “The message was conveyed that enough is enough with the violence against women.

“This initiative was well received by the community,” Ngwane said.
