IT was smiles all around as Vishwa Shakti held their 44th leadership camp called Mind over Madness in Drakensburg in December 2015.

A diverse group of 130 enthusiastic youth, adults and senior citizens enjoyed seven days and six nights of exhilarating activities that left them feeling refreshed, positive and motivated to take on the New Year de-stressed and energised.

A carefully structured programme for participants that combines fun activities with holistic learning and life skills development was conducted.

Senior citizen, Prithvi Balbador said it was: “A very spiritually elevating experience in the calm and quiet of the mountains.

A full day of activities meant everyone was occupied and made the most of their time during the camp.

Campers enjoyed hiking, paintball combat, archery, horse riding, rafting on the dam with a raft they built, swimming, outdoor adventure games and engaging discussions and presentations.

The wonderful yoga and meditation gave everyone a chance to wind down and relax and take in the wonderful experience in the mountain air.

“This camp is one of the very best I have ever attended. The camp provided me with physical, mental and spiritual enlightenment.

“The meals provided were delicious and fulfilling. The management of the camp with their leaders was professional and motivating.

“The knowledge imparted was priceless,” said Raj Chablal.
