A POWERFUL mini workshop was held with lead pupils at Buffelsdale Secondary School recently.

According to principal Dr Singh this meeting was initiated to re-focus pupils to their goals in life.

“Many youth are led astray and act on impulse and thus there is a need to empower them. Members of the community were invited to be part of this process,” said Singh.

Pastor Sbu Kuzwayo, motivational speaker at the event, inspired pupils.

He emphasised how daily planning is essential to achieve one’s goals.

Local policeman Sergeant Dladla touched on being within the scope of the law in all actions.

Since this is the anti-racism week, emphasis was placed on peace and harmony in all relationships.

Buffelsdale Secondary was one of the lead schools in opening its doors to multi-cultural education said the principal.
