THE Belvedere Multi-Skills Centre started on February 8, this year with three retired skills ladies. Presently, the skills centre have 48 members. The centre is still open to new members.

Sakira Pillay said in a statement: “We have 46 females and two males. The open day function was organised on October 11. The members made extravagant items to showcase their talents. They also made items and had them sold. We also want to thank the community for the support.”

The members also thanked Sarika and Trevor Pillay of Sizabantu Plumbers for their sponsorship.
