New Covenant Fellowship North turns seven

2018-07-26 06:00

NEW Covenant Fellowship North (NCF North) turned seven years old on July 17.

To celebrate this milestone anniversary of this multi-campus church, senior pastors Apostle Pastor Mervyn Jean Louis and his beautiful wife Michelle have decided to bring all three campuses together for a massive celebration on July 22 at 9.30 am at the Tongaat Campus — 6 Bhoola Road. This fast growing, non-denominational, multiracial church now has campuses in Tongaat, Verulam and Stanger with a membership of around 2 000 members. The founding pastors fervently believe in the principle of legacy and believe that God has called NCF North to impact the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, which is what drives their commitment and desire to help people.

Under the Apostolic Covering of Dr Basil Tryon, Apostle Mervyn and Pastor Michelle founded NCF North on July 17, 2011. Apostle Mervyn was ordained into the ministry in August 2003 and was set into the office of Apostle in December 2015.

He is a passionate teacher of the Word and, under his ministry, he continues to raise up leaders in the ministry and the marketplace. His ministry is known for its strong emphasis on principles that grow leadership, structure, discipline, and messages that challenge mindsets.

Apostle Mervyn has the ability to assist individuals in realizing their full potential by using their talents and abilities to walk in the fullness of their God-given destiny.

When asked what stood out to them over the last seven years, Pastor Michelle said: “God has been good to us. If I think of where we could be and where we are, all I can say is that God has been so gracious to us. It’s a milestone for our church, moving from childhood to adulthood. We’ve seen so many families restored, so many lives changed. We have seen that, when we choose to go on God’s word, He will bless you in the midst of challenges.

“... People are God’s most precious family so when we see their lives changing for the better this makes all the sacrifices count.”

The thanksgiving service, which takes place on Sunday at 9.30 am at the NCF North Tongaat Campus on 6 Bhoola Road, Truroland, will be conducted by the honourable Dr Basil Tryon and is open to the whole community.
