ABOUT 20 Tongaat Panthers Athletic Club members took part in a special Diwali run on Sunday spreading love and unity amongst the club members in keeping with the message of Deepavali where good always triumphs over evil.

The morning kicked off with the lighting of lamps and fireworks before the members hit the R102 participating in the 12km and 15km run/walk.

Members are reminded that there is only two legs left before the Thinnys League Challenge comes to completion for 2016.

The annual awards function takes place on 25 November at 6.30pm at the Hot Shots Nite Club in Arbee Drive.

Tickets are on sale at R50 per person and are available from Bugwan s Extension or from the club secretary. - Supplied.
