EIGHTEEN Tongaat Panthers runners successfully completed the Comrades Marathon down run from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.

Temba Qhaniso led the team home in an excellent time of 7.04.28, receiving a silver medal.

The other silver medal recipients were David Mzobe 7.07.21,Bongiinkosi Biyela 7.20 and Lungani Mkhize 7.20.13.

The first female Panther in was Sajhida Abdool, who completed her 20th Comrades in a time of 10.41.43.

Members are reminded that the Aches and Pains Party takes place on Saturday 4 June at 6pm at Victoria Primary.

The ninth leg of the Thinnys League Challenge takes place on Sunday the 12 June at 6.15 am
