THE friendly cricketing rivalry between local Tongaat teams Railways Cricket Club and the Tongaat Cricket Union continued at the Outspan Grounds on Sunday, November 11.

In response with the bat, Trishane Pillay top scored with 31, Rashendran Naidoo secured 24 and Wayne Naicker scored 20 not out, securing victory for the Railways CC side.

Railways Cricket Club will celebrate its 70th anniversary this year.

The event will be celebrated at a Gala Anniversary Dinner at the Palace Conference Centre on December 8 from 6pm. Please note that the event is rescheduled from December 1.

The planning committee apologised for any inconvenience caused.
