House break-in

On Saturday 13 February at around 9pm Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa) received a call from a resident in Missal Circle in Umdloti Heights, Verulam, reporting a break-in at their residence.

Rusa officers were dispatched and upon arrival they found forced entry was gained into the home through the bedroom window.

Jewellery, laptops, cellphones, watches and clothing were stolen from the house.

Theft of motor vehicle

A white, 2004 model Toyota Hilux bakkie was stolen on 15 February from Hazelmere in Verulam. Identifying features include a dent on the bonnet including black and white stripes on the side of the vehicle.

House break-in

A residence in Harmony Close, Temple Valley, Verulam was broken into on 10 February.

Forced entry was gained through the front door and the entire home was ransacked and household items were stolen.

Three suspects in a white unknown vehicle were seen fleeing the property.

Gardener bitten by snake

On 9 February Reaction Unit South Africa medics and officers were dispatched to a home on Fairview Drive, Brindhaven after receiving information that a gardener had been bitten by a snake.

Upon arrival, medics were informed that while cutting the grass behind the house a snake bit a general worker on his foot.

A Rusa officer searched for the snake however it could not be located.
