House break-in: Verulam

Reaction Unit SA (Rusa) officers responded to call regarding a house break-in on Sunlark Drive in Dawncrest, Verulam at approximately 5.30pm on 14 March.

Upon arrival officers found that entry into the home was gained via the roof.

The entire premises was ransacked and several household items were stolen.

Motor vehicle collision: Verulam

Rusa paramedics responded to a call at the Ottawa intersection on 17 March at approximately 10:15am.

The team received several calls from motorists reporting a motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival paramedics found that a Toyota Etios and an Opel Corsa bakkie had.

The drivers of both vehicles sustained moderate injuries and were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical assessment.

Theft of motor vehicle: Verulam

Residents are requested to be on the lookout for a blue, 1986 model Toyota Corolla with registration NJ 45004.

The vehicle was stolen at approximately 7pm on 17 March from Teakwood Drive in Trenance Park, Verulam.

Common robbery: Verulam

A Reaction Unit officer was stopped by a resident who informed them of a robbery on 18 March.

The victim stated that while on her way to work she was approached by two suspects who robbed her of her hand bag and cash before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim provided the officer with a description of the suspects. The officer went in search of the suspects,however no arrests were made.

House break-in: Verulam

Reaction Unit officers responded to report of a house break- in on 20 March at approximately 8.45pm.

The officers were dispatched to a home in Silver Oak Avenue in Oaklands after receiving reports of a house break-in.

Upon arrival it was discovered that forced entry was gained via the kitchen door.

The home was ransacked and jewellery was stolen.
