THE Safa Tongaat Senior Futsal League is gaining momentum as it reaches the crunch end of business. Leaders in the log, Buffelsdale Giants A, dropped two crucial points in their mid-week fixture against the experience Railways FC.

This victory puts Calypso Sporting joint on point with Belchester, which is also undefeated in the league.

Both Belchester and Calypso Sporting trail Buffelsdale Giants by a single point with a game in hand.

The junior futsal structures participated in a KO tournament which was held at the Tongaat Sports Centre on October 20.

Sanjeen Ramnarain said in a statement: “Catering for the U11, 13, 15 and 17 age divisions, with futsal [indoor] being the fastest-growing sport in the world, players in the junior structures are guaranteed to develop their skills.
