AFTER a successful first round, the pre-season tournament saw Verulam United, Verulam Stars, Parkgate Swallows, Parkgate Celtics and Soccer Kings F.C. progress to the next stage of the competition.
President of Safa Verulam Local Football Association Marta Narainsamy and his executive team extends a warm welcome and invite all clubs and teams that ply their trade in Verulam, including newly formed teams, to sign up to join the Verulam Premier League that will be launched before the end of April.
“This is a great opportunity for teams and players to participate in a Safa-sanctioned league and other related tournaments and should be seen as a great opportunity for progression in the game not only for the clubs but for the game of football in Verulam.”
