VULTURES Football Club kept their winning ways alive after beating one of the big guns of the league, Madrid Football Club by 1-0 in the Verulam Recreation Grounds on July 29.

In the other game log leaders Classic FC secured their top position after pouncing Bhakabhaka by 2-0 in the same venue.

The Verulam Football Association said in a statement: “Both Classic FC and Vultures FC are strong league contenders after going nine games each without a lost and only separated by goal difference.

“Their next appointment will see them face each other which will be interesting and game to be watch.”
Verulam United embarrassed Black City beating them 8-0.
Fullmoon won 3-0 against Green Leaf.

In other sport results, Scorpion FC drew 1-1 with and Clermont Ladies.
