THE Tongaat SAPS, in conjunction with the Department of Social Development, Department of Community Safety and Liaison, Metro police, Department of Health, Durban Solid Waste and Africa Unite, conducted an information sharing programme at the Tshatsha community ground in the Magwaveni area outside Tongaat, recently.

The purpose of the programme was to share information on different government services available to people and to empower the entire community.

Community members were afforded the opportunity to ask questions about issues they thought were important or to get clarity on issues.

The guest speakers addressed the audience’s questions, handed out promotional material and pamphlets to the community.
