Sawagat restaurant review with Vanessa Narayansingh

2018-03-08 06:01

AFTER having a hearty meal at Sawagat Restaurant in Ballito, I always feel satisfied because it’s one of the best North Indian restaurants that I have been to in Ballito.

I am a strict vegetarian and my meals must be prepared in a certain way.

Sawagat provides all that I need in a meal with trimmings, which makes me a happy camper.

Jasbir Singh is the owner of Sawagat and since the opening of his restaurant I have been a consistent customer.

The past five years have been fantastic and the reason for this is the service I receive on entering the restaurant.

He is wonderful, kind and very caring. His welcoming smile and courteous ways make him a good host to all his customers.

Singh, as well as his staff, are very accommodating. A vegetarian does not always find a restaurant with a variety of dishes but I am very happy to be a regular customer at his place, eating the most perfectly prepared assorted dishes.

My favourites are the dhal makhini and paneer dishes. He prepares the best buffets with a wide variety to choose from. Being a regular has its advantages too, because Singh attends to me personally and makes sure everything is to my satisfaction.

The aroma of the food is so good that even the distant passerby will relish it. His facilities are always neat and tidy and utensils are polished with pride. I do not have any reason to complain because I am a satisfied customer and I recommend Sawagat to all family and friends.

For bookings of birthday parties, wedding parties and year-end functions, Sawagat allows a free venue and only bills you for the food, so if you are looking for the best Indian food, visit Sawagat in Ballito and enjoy the delicious food prepared by an experienced chef.
