THE Dawncrest Astro Turf held its end-of- season soccer tournament recently.

A total of 21 teams participated in the U9, U11 and U13 divisions.

The sponsors, Freedom Stationers and the Department of Sport and Recreation. were impressed with the level of interest shown and participation from primary schools.

They praised the organisers, schools and parents.

The winners and runners-up received stationery packs and Neeshan from the department sponsored all the medals.

Chief co-ordinator Yunus Amod thanked sponsors and teachers for their commitment.

Tonver president Guru Ramcharan said he hopes the tournament spreads to other
