THE Association of Senior Citizens of Tongaat (Ascot) held an event to honour the aged and gracious grandmothers and grandfathers at the Tongaat Town Hall recently. The association takes care of senior citizens in the municipal area of Tongaat. There are eight Indian and five African clubs with a membership of a 1 000 members. Senior citizens are encouraged to join a club in their area to uplift their lives with many activities at the clubs. — Supplied.
