THE Verulam Tennis Club hosted its fourth annual memorial tournament in memory of Vegan Chetty recently.

Chetty was a passionate player for over 50 years. He was married to Radha and he left behind his son and daughter Kumar and Premie.

Verulam has again excelled by winning this open tournament despite the lack of suitable facilities. The club said in a statement: “We also take this opportunity to kindly thank all those who have thoughtfully made financial and other contributions towards this club.”
