THE eagerly awaited 20118/19 National First Division season derby between Uthongathi FC and Real Kings has been postponed until further notice following the death of Uthongathi FC chairperson Nicholas Gumede.

The game was scheduled to take place at the Princess Magogo Stadium at KwaMashu this Saturday, September 15.

Speaking about the match, Uthongathi FC communications manager Nkosinathi Chili told Coastal Weekly: “We would like to apologise to all our supporters who were looking forward to our game this week. It was not in our plans to postpone this game.

“We decided to mourn the death of our chairperson and postpone the game until further notice.

“I can assure supporters that after the funeral they will be advised accordingly about our next game.”
