THE Sunfield Home School hosted its open day function recently. The event was designed to act as an outreach activity that allows the general public to come to school and interact with the pupils and staff to gain a better understanding of children with intellectual impairments as well as to better understand the capabilities of these particular pupils. The event was also used as a fundraising activity with a host of art and craft stalls being made available on the day. Sunfield Home School thanked all parties involved, especially its sponsors and donors, for helping to make the event a memorable experience. — Supplied.
