Sarasvati Primary School held a Grade 7 farewell at Fairbreeze Madressah Hall recently.

The function was the first of its kind to take place at the school.

The first session took place at the hall where pupils gave outstanding performances and speeches and were presented with T-shirts and new school uniforms for the high schools they would be going to in 2018.

The function then went to the second venue at Nando’s where pupils had lunch.

Principal Joe Zoko said: “I proudly extend my appreciation to all those members of staff who tirelessly contributed to the success of the function and willingly provided their own vehicle for transport.

“I would like to acknowledge organisations that contributed greatly to the planning and staging of this successful event.

“Priscilla Naidoo of the SAI organisation for the new school uniforms, Terusha Ramsunder for the T-shirts, JM Ndlovu for the decor and DJ Bandlah.” - Supplied.
