THREE pupils from Maidstone Primary School, Anna-Lee Pillay, Laiken Moonean and Adiel Naidoo, completed the 2018 Midmar Mile race held on February 10 and 11. This is the world’s largest open-water swim, with a distance of 1,6 km of open water to swim.

While the children were nervous at the start line, their nervousness was overpowered by great determination which resulted in their success and much joy at the finish line.
