Urgent Tonver council meeting

THE third term is packed with great sporting activities for pupils who participate in the Tonver Schools Sports Programme.

The inter-school Cross Country is scheduled for Friday 22 July at Cottonlands Primary School.

Successful participants will proceed to the Circuit Finals the following Friday.

The Tonver Games finals culminates on 29 and 30 July in Tongaat where all the top schools in each group will battle for the honours of being declared “Tonver champions”.

The Friendship Games takes place on 13 August in Chatsworth. Tonver will compete with Cadssa, Phoenix and Cumberwood in the codes of soccer, netball, volleyball, table tennis and chess in both primary and secondary schools.

On 17 September the Circuit Manager’s Cup will take place in Tongaat where top teams in each circuit competes against each other.

Therefore, organisers are hosting an important council meeting to finalise details of the above events.

The meeting takes place on Wednesday 20 July at Silverdale Primary School at 1pm. Attendance is mandatory for all schools.
