THE Verulam SAPS was recognised as the best performing station within the eThekwini outer north cluster by the cluster commander Major General Lucas Ngobeni.

The station received awards in the categories of policing, crime prevention, crime detection and support services. Ngobeni commended the station commander Brigadier Victor Dludla on the performance of his station.

Brigadier Dludla attributed the fact that the station won the awards to a very dedicated and committed personal compliment from his management to members at grass roots.

Dludla acknowledged every member’s commitment. He said that he wanted to better the performance and improve in areas where the station has fallen short in terms of service delivery for the year 2018. - Supplied.
