>> Residents are urged to donate blood on Wednesday, 20 July at Seatides Combined School. The blood clinic will be open from 10am-7pm.

>> All matriculants who wrote supplementary exams in February/March this year are informed that the results for the supplementary exams are now available at all high schools in Tongaat and Verulam. Pupils who did not pass have an opportunity to fill in an application to re-write at the end of this year, however the closing date for applications is 27 May.

>> Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM). Notice is hereby given in terms of Clause 10.2 in the Constitution of the AGM of the Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society (TCFWS). The meeting will take place at 2pm on Saturday, 30 July at the TCFWS offices in Tongaat. Please note that regarding applications for membership, in compliance with Clause 6 of the Constitution of TCFWS, individuals are to reach the TCFWS offices by close of business on 30 June. Application forms are available at the TCFWS offices at 12-14 Tesco Drive, Potgieter’s Hill in Tongaat. Renewal of membership forms will close 30 minutes before the commencement of the AGM.

>> The Verulam Regional Committee for the KZN Blind & Deaf Society (KZNBDS) will be hosting a music concert in aid of KZNBDS’ new workshop. The workshop will assist in the skills development of blind and deaf persons in the Verulam area. The event will be held at the Mountview Civic Centre in Verulam on Friday, 3 June at 6.30pm.
