>> The Tongaat South Vishnu Temple will be hosting Gangain prayers in memory of their late members, donors and construction team.

The prayer will be held at Casuarina Beach on June 11, commencing at 9am to 12pm.

The bus leaves the temple at 9am. Lunch will be served at 12pm, welcome to family and devotees.

>> The forth biennial general meeting of the 1860 Indentured Labourers Foundation Verulam will take place on June 29 at Glenhaven Secondary, commencing at 6.30pm.

>> The Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society is now offering Basic Skills Developments courses. Course one is Basic Domestic Training for one month and Basic Office Skills Development for one month.

All members of the community are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity as the course entails basic skills development and will motivate trainees to utilise the knowledge gained to improve their lives.

Application forms are not available at Tongaat Child and Welfare Society office.
