>>The Brake Village kavady will take place on March 31. The chariot will be leaving the temple at 8am and will proceed to the Outspan Ground. Flag hoisting prayer will take place on March 22. Daily prayer starts at 6pm on week days and 4pm on weekends. There will be a bus service available to the temple on a daily basis leaving from Belvedere and making all stops in the Tongaat south area from 6pm and returning after the prayer.

>>The Brake Village Alayam will be hosting a mass Hawan on Saturday, March 24 during the daily prayer commencing at 4pm. All devotees who wish to partake in the Hawan can contact Alayam on 032 945 1919 for a booking with the presiding priest. Lord Muruga Thiru Kalyanum will take place on Sunday, March 25 commencing at 4pm.

>>The Brake Village Alayam has commenced weekly prayer services on Sundays at 8.30am. The service and discourse on Hinduism is conducted by the presiding priest, Guru Ravi Iyer.
