Youth encouraged to participate in 1860 forum

2016-03-03 06:00

THE 1860 Indentured Labourers Foundation of Verulam is encouraging youth up to the age of 30 years old from all sectors of the community to contribute to the planning and to participate in a function which will be held in November this year.

The foundation is encouraging young people’s participation in keeping with their theme ‘youth initiative and participation’.

Representatives from local institutions and organisations are urged to contribute to a forum to discuss, plan and make positive and practical suggestions for the envisaged function.

In order to make adequate arrangements for seating and catering, the foundation requests your institution/organisation to submit the names and contact details of your representatives who will be attending and participating in the forum.

Individuals who wish to participate are also welcome, but they are required to submit their respective names and contact details in advance.

The forum takes place on Saturday 12 March at Glenhaven Secondary School boardroom commencing at 10am.

Send your response to the foundation by 9 March.

For details, contact the secretary Roy Raghubir on 032 5331752, Mr J S Singh on 032 5332697 or the assistant treasurer Shirley Jayrajh via email: info@jayrajh.com
