THE U10 and U11 netball girls had their first match against Jen’s Junior last Thursday.

Both teams were equally excited and nervous. The U10’s game was won by Jen’s Junior and the U11 game was won by KPS.

Well done to all the girls who participated.

Last weekend an entourage of teachers, coaches and pupils descended upon St. Patricks to participate in the annual Wacky Winter Festival.

Pupils were dressed in their rugby and hockey attire of the traditional colours of red and white (hockey) and red and blue (rugby). They were a sight to behold.

The rugby boys played in the U9 to U13 categories.

The rugby displayed at times was simply breathtaking. We had mixed results from the different games, but at the end of the day each and every player emerged from the festival stronger, more motivated and more experience having played so many matches.

The hockey girls played in age divisions ranging from U7 all the way to U13. Parents came out in their droves to support and cheer on the girls as they played from their hearts.

The girls gained experience at this festival which we trust will empower them for their remaining games left this season.

We salute our pupils who gave good accounts of themselves.

Coaches have put in a lot of hard work and effort in preparing pupils and we salute you for your dedication and commitment. A huge thank you to our drivers for availing themselves on Saturday.

Lastly we would like to thank St Patricks for hosting us.
