KOKSTAD police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two men aged 20 and 24 were allegedly hit and killed by a truck on the R617 in Franklin outside Kokstad last Friday.

SAPS spokesperson Captain Dumisani Ncongo said that when police arrived at the scene they found the bodies of the men wrapped in plastic bags.

“The truck was moving in the direction towards Kokstad and no alcohol was found when the truck driver was tested. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the Government mortuary in Kokstad,” said Ncongo.
Ncongo said that no arrest have been made.
