IT WAS while working as a storekeeper under the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs that Siyabonga “Bhizory” Manci developed his love for singing Kwaito. Bhizory is now preparing to launch his second album, titled Ingoma Yam, at Clydesdale Hall in Umzimkhulu on September 1.

The 32-year-old from Umzimkhulu thanked God for his success in the music industry. Bhizory said he started singing Kwaito music in high school however, because of a lack of funds, it was difficult for him to record his music.

After his collaboration with another singer, Mzwakhe Khumalo, in 2013, he released his first album, Spinners, with 13 songs. The album was appreciated by many people in Umzimkhulu with numerous event opportunities arising from its launch.

In 2014, Bhizory released another album, Touch the Walls, which consisted of 13 songs.

“Next month, I will be releasing my single album Ingoma Yam and the full album will come out in April next year. My aim is to market the album to people,” he said.

Bhizory said perseverance and responsibility drive him towards success.

Dope Abator Entertainment recording studio in Umzimkhulu has assisted many promising artists including Manci to record songs.
