Bhubesi FC mourn death of spokesman

2018-02-16 06:00

BHUBESI FC has cancelled all its Safa Harry Gwala SAB League games this weekend after losing one of its founders and its spokesperson, Ayanda Jaca.

The team asked league organisers not to be included in this weekend’s fixture because of Jaca’s death.

Zolani Siqwayi, the team’s secretary, said Jaca played a big role in the formation of the club. “He contributed to marketing the team and played another role of making sure that the team had money. Team players are devastated about his death because he assisted some players with coaching skills,” said Siqwayi.

Last Sunday, Bhubesi FC beat Mountain Celtics 2-1 at an SAB league game in Umzimkhulu.

Jaca will be buried in Harding tomorrow.
