Bhubesi FC strong at league opening

AT the reopening of the South African Breweries (SAB) League in Bhongweni Stadium last Sunday, Bhubesi FC came through strong after defeating Ixopo United FC 2-0.

The league was closed for the December holidays.

Bhubesi FC has six points since the league started last year.

In the first half neither team score, but in the second half Bhubesi FC came through strong after two substitutes Loyiso Makayi and Siyabonga Sabela scored.

Sabela scored the first goal and Mankayi scored the second.

Zolani Siqwayi, Bhubesi FC secretary said the team started the year with a promising spirit and determination.

Some SAB results:

Juveniles FC beat Umzimkhulu Blackpool FC 2-1.

Kokstad Liverpool beat
Tigers FC 5-1.

Master 11 FC beat Amakhehla FC 7-3.

Eastern Rangers FC beat Eastern United 7-0.

The game between Bush Bucks FC and Umzimkhulu United was postponed to a later date.
