JUBILANT children from Twist Valley and Railway Station in Kokstad thanked Crystal King’s Bikers Club after it donated Christmas toys and refreshments to them on Saturday.

The club said 300 children received toys, refreshments and sweets.

“In October we hosted a mini-rally to collect money for charity, and we spent R5 000 on toys,” said Colin Napier from the club.

He said the aim of the initiative is to give back to the community of Kokstad and thank them for their support. He said on the New Year’s Day bikers will donate money to the elderly people of Kokstad.

In previous years the club donated Christmas toys to the children of Marikana, Cedarville and Franklin and next year they will donate to the Swartberg children.

Napier thanked sponsors and businesses that supported the club.
