THE annual bikers rally in Kokstad is expected to capture lots of support this year as many bikers have shown interest. The rally will be hosted for the second time at Kargs Post farm, just 7km outside Kokstad, from October 26 to October 28.

The event is hosted by local bikers club Crystal Kings in aid of poor families.

The club’s president, Colin Napier, said bikers from King Williams Town, Durban, and Pietermaritzburg have booked space for attendance. He said food stalls and music will form part of entertainment at the event.

“To make a difference in our communities, we need community support. It touches my heart to see families starving in Kokstad. As bikers, we decided to host a rally each year in aid of poor families in Kokstad, Cedarville, and Matatiele,” he said.

He said proceeds from the rally will be spent on buying Christmas toys for children, stationery for back to school campaigns, and blankets for poor families. In December last year, members of the club donated Christmas toys to Twistville children.
