TWO cases of murder are being investigated at Kokstad Police Station after two unidentified bodies (a woman and a man) were found in separate locations on Sunday, October 6.

At 1 pm on October 6, SAPS received information regarding the body of an unidentified man at Nolangeni Mountain.

The body, which had injuries to the upper torso, was taken to the Kokstad government mortuary for identification.

“An unknown woman was declared dead at EG and Usher Memorial Hospital in Kokstad after she was found by community members with stab wounds on her body next to the Mphela area,” said SAPS spokesperson Captain Dumisani Ncongo, who has asked community members to visit Kokstad government mortuary to identify the bodies.
