NONKULULEKO Jiyane is in pain, but relieved after her mother’s body was found next to a dump site in Kokstad last Saturday.

Sarah Jiyane (73) was reported missing on October 2 and the
community and her daughter
Nonkululeko searched for her, but could not find her.

Her body was found by people walking next to the dump site, and told the police.

“I am happy to discover my mother’s body, but upset because she was the breadwinner,” said Nonkululeko.

Sarah’s handbag was found with her identity document and money inside.

SAPS spokesperson Dumisani Ncongo confirmed that an inquest docket was opened at Kokstad Police Station and that nvestigations are under way.
