KOKSTAD Bowling Club members held their last fun 2016 bowls day on Sunday. The event began with games, followed by lunch and prize giving.

Dennis Grey, Dennis Krebser, Keith Murgatroyd, Jimmy Marr and their teams received prizes for outstanding achievements. A wine hamper was won by Patrick Terrence and a Christmas cake raffle was won by Roddy Andrea.

Mascor Mount Currie donated bags to bowlers­.
Port Shepstone Lions Club president and zone chairman, Jeff Smith presented the Service Challenge Award to Kokstad Club Lion president, Caroline Hill, who thanks bowlers for their support and wished everyone a happy Christmas.

“A special thank you to members of Port Shepstone Lions Club, Ramsgate Lions Club and local bowlers for their support.
“We are going to meet next year for more games.”
