CEDARVILLE farmer, Zolani Ngcingwana (65), has fulfilled his dream, with the help of Ithala Development Finance Corporation, of owning a farm - Yellow Star - which has created many jobs for locals.

Before he becoming a farmer, he was taught business skills by his parents who owned businesses in Ntabankulu and Mount Frere and a small farm in his rural homestead.

“It was my dream to become a commercial farmer and through learning and hard work I have accomplished that.”

His farm has employed 10 permanent staff and 20 casual labourers, and his dream is to see his children follow in his footsteps. “My aim is to see young people getting support to grow their business,” said Ngcingwana.
