LAST Sunday, Bethel Worship
Centre hosted a gala dinner at the Kokstad Town Hall to raise funds for orphans at the Home of Comfort in Kokstad.
Apostle Isaac Frimpong, from Bethel Worship Centre said the money raised will be used to buy warm clothes for children.

“Helping is what the church does throughout the year and in winter many children from poor families are cold because they don’t have warm clothes. At the event congregants pledged to donate warm clothes and money to help the children.

“Every weekend the church gives food to homeless people and food parcels to poor families around Kokstad.”

In September the church will host a gala dinner to raise money for building a church because the church currently rents the Kokstad Town Hall for Sunday services.

Frimpong thanked sponsors for supporting the event and the municipality for giving them a hall to host a gala dinner for free.
