AFTER participating at the Ugu Championships in Gamalakhe Community Hall last Saturday, La-Rata Dance Club from Kokstad was delighted when dancers came victorious.

Dancer, Mihla Mbokwana and her partner Yandisa Luthuli claimed second position in the ballroom standard dance category.

Breyton Ruiters and Vuyokazi Nongogo were placed in first position while Yandisa Luthuli and Bevuya Memani received second position for ballroom standard dance.

The club’s manager, Lebontso Lepita, said that she was delighted when dancers participated well in the championships.

“This attainment shows that we are moving in the right direction and we appeal to sponsors to support the club,” said Lepita.

Lepita said that dancers were given certificates for their good performances.
