ON Monday, a contractor, who will connect electricity to 400 Umzimkhulu households, was introduced to Delamuzi village residents,

In the 2017/2018 financial year, the Imbawula Technical Services won the tender to complete the project.

“We ask the community in this area to embrace what has been delivered. I call on the people to create an enabling environment for the contractor so he can complete the task without problems,” said Umzimkhulu mayor, Mphuthumi Mpabanga.

Ward 1 councillor, Mncedisi Ndlela thanked the municipality for the project after many years with no electricity.
