Face of Port Shepstone winners crowned

AFTER months of preparations, weeks of auditions, training, mentorship and rehearsals the Face of Port Shepstone Beauty And Lifestyle event took place on Saturday, 6 May at Esayidi TVET (FET) College, Gamalakhe Campus.

Organiser Phumlani Mzobe of PhumlaniM Foundation said the winners have finally been crowned. .

“In the plus-size category Miss Fabulicious Face of Port Shepstone winners were Khalipha Mbuthuma of Olso Beach, second princess was Phelokazi Ngxola of Gamalakhe and the plus-size queen title went to Ziyanda Mnyandu, a 17-year-old matric pupil at KwaMasosha High School.”

In the teen section the first runner-up was Nobuhle Mbotho of Gamalakhe and in second place was

Nobuhle Ngcobo from Manzamhlophe. Taking the teen crown was Ilungile Hlophe a pupil at Marburg Secondary School.

“In the male section we had one category, King of Port Shepstone. Yanga Luwalala of Murchison was third with Khetha Bhengu of KwaNyuswa in Ezinqoleni taking second place and the king was Bonga Diko (22) of Port Shepstone, who is studying at Esaydi TVET College Enyenyezi Campus.”

The three ladies who made it to the final were Nokuthula Magaba, second princess, Princess Pearl Nqoko, first princess and Khanyisile Nyanda from Gcilima who was crowned queen.

“Khanyisile is 17 years of age in Grade 10 at Margate Middle School. I would like to congratulate all the winners and the finalists. We applaud the hard work put in by every individual and hope they will represent the values of the PhumlaniM Foundation,” said Mzobe.
