TEAMS who are participating in the South African Breweries (SAB) Harry Gwala District South African Football Association (SAFA) league will play the final games this Sunday, said Mamisa Ngcobo, the deputy president of SAFA in the Harry Gwala District.

Ngcobo said that two teams with high points from stream A and B will be selected to face each other and the winner will proceed to the provincial play-offs. Last Sunday, Bhubesi FC defeated Bulwer United 4-2 after Bane Pakkies scored two goals at a match held at Bhongweni Stadium.

Team manager, Zama Ngubo said that the team will fight hard when it plays against Master 11 FC this Sunday.

“The team is having 31 points and is in position three on the log. We want to work hard to win the league,” said Ngubo.

Result of Saturday games: Barcelona beat Clydesdale United 2-0, Eastern United defeats T. Tigers 2-1, and Mountain Celtics beat Master 11 4-2 while Ixopo Celtics drew 1-1 against Nkwezela Vultures.

On Sunday, Ixopo United beat Bush Bucks FC 4-3, Lighthouse Academy beat Amakhehla FC 5-1 and Umzimkhlu United beat Real Stars 3-1.
