A GRADUATION ceremony for 18 West Coast Bible College and Seminary students was held in Kokstad on Saturday.

The college’s leader, Dr Fanie Mqira, and Bishop Mthokozisi Gama attended the ceremony.

Co-ordinator Pastor Mandla Mavalanji said the school educates religious people, including pastors from all provinces and from neighbouring countries. He said in Kokstad there is a branch where many students are being taught biblical lessons.

“The school is working with existing pastors and congregants who are sent from their churches. They attend classes and received certificates,” said Mavalanji. The school produced 38 students in December 2017, and 32 in February.

Mavalanji said their aim is to make sure that the church complies with the Cultural, Religious and Linguistic (CRL) rights commission.

He thanked people for being supportive of the school.
